Pinatas
are a fun kid party game
that even adults love to play! You can also use them as
centerpieces or hang them around the house to accent your
party decoration.
Pinata Designs
These
colorfully decorated papier-mache figures have been a part
of Latin American celebrations for centuries and are becoming
more and more popular in the United States. Pinatas
come in many different shapes. Today you can find them shaped
as kids' favorite characters.
This fun party supply is decorated with colorful tissue
paper and sometimes with glitter. Pinatas
are most often filled with candy and party toys and hung
from a beam or a tree.
How do you play this kid
party game?
Each player is blindfolded, given a stick and turned three
times. The player is released and given three tries to hit
the pinata open to release the candies
and party
favors. The other kids can orientate the player (or
confuse him!) to where the pinata is by saying "left",
"right", "at your back", etc.
